Hey how are you doing? I´m feeling full of the joys of spring, because one of my favourite fruits, strawberries are in season. So if you´re partial to the odd strawb or two and you´re looking for a healthy smoothie recipe, filled with natural ingredients that´s great for your immune system and for burning fat then keep reading, or click on the link to the video, as I´ll be showing you and explaining what you´ll need and how to make it.
So this healthy smoothie recipe is packed with all the usual nutrients and goodness of one of my smoothies, and with a sweet strawberry flavour to boot. Plus, it´s great for your good gut bacteria due to the Aloe Vera and it helps you burn fat too. Could it get any better? I think not. So let´s get on with it shall we?
Okay, so start by making a cup of tea, which you need to leave to cool down a bit. I use good old English tea, but any tea will do just fine. Then we’re going to blend together our usual base ingredients of oats, nuts and a mixture of seeds, along with three quarters of a pint of water.
So it’s in with the water, to which we add two dessert spoons each of the nuts, seeds and oats. And then give that a good blend for about a minute.
Next we need to prepare the fruits and vegetables, starting by peeling and grating the carrots. Careful with your fingers here.
Then peel and chop the banana, avocado and the fresh ginger. Remove the skin from your Aloe Vera and soak in water for a minute or two. Or alternatively measure out 100 ml of Forever Aloe Vera gel, which you can find a link to below, and add that directly to your smoothie mix.
Aftrer that, wash and remove the stalks from your strawberries. Use anywhere between 6 and 10 strawberries depending on the size and personal taste. Then simply add all of these ingredients to the blender, along with the cooled down tea. You could also add a few ice cubes as well if you like your smoothies ice cold. Then blend for about a minute.
Pour and serve, and there you have it – a delicious and super healthy smoothie, great for burning fat and for keeping your immune system on top form due to the Aloe Vera´s positive effects on your good gut bacteria. Tremendous!
